Here at Cheeky Monkeys, we pride ourselves on the excellent care that we give to all of our children and their parents/carers, and feel we give the very best feedback we can to each and every parent on a daily basis. 

 

We are Full Day Care Nursery School, offering places for children from birth to 5 years of age. 

 

Our opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.30pm, we do offer extended hours of 7.30am however these are subject to availability and may not always be available . Cheeky Monkeys is open 50 weeks of the year, closing for up to two weeks over the Christmas period and closed on Bank Holidays. 

 

The nursery was opened in March 1993 by owners Debbie Moliterno and Cheryl Dagul who are proactive in the daily running of the nursery.

Debbie and Cheryl first met through a nursery that both of their children attended in Bushey.

It was then that they decided to open one of their own. Cheeky Monkeys opened its doors in Maxwell Road Borehamwood offering morning sessions which included lunch.  After a year we moved to All Saints School Hall on Shenley Road Borehamwood which was home to us for 18 years. When the re-development took place we were moved to the Former Family Centre in Elstree Way which is currently a thriving nursery.

In order to ensure parents and carers always involved and up-to-date with their children's development, we now use an online journal called 'Tapestry'. Progress videos and photos are regularly uploaded so that these can be shared with parents and carers.

Our daily fees cover snacks, lunches and teas. Nappies, wipes and creams are also included for children under the age of two.

All our staff are vetted, qualified and are trained in first aid and we have a intercom security system installed, which is linked to each classroom.
