 Our Teaching Team
Our staff ratio for qualified staff is
1:3 for babies aged 3 months to 2 years old, 1:4 for 2 - 3 year olds and
1:8 for 3 - 5 year olds. We also accommodate students who are working
towards childcare qualifications and offer an apprentice scheme.
At Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery our
staff ratio’s are kept above the legal requirement to ensure all our
children’s needs are met. Under the EYFS Development Plan we are able to
offer a nursery place to a child the term following their 3rd birthday
for a maximum of currently 15 hrs per week free of charge.
Key Worker System:
Every child that attends Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery has a Key Person.
You will be advised who your child’s Key person is. They will be
responsible in maintaining your child’s individual progress folders that
you take with you when departing from Cheeky Monkeys Day Nursery. Your
child’s Key Person is available to discuss any issues you may have
before or after a session. Appointments can be made after hours to suit.
The purpose of sending home a daily
sheet is to enable you as parents to see what your child has eaten,
taken part in, slept and learnt during their busy day at nursery.
