Our
Children
There are approx 135
children registered at Cheeky Monkeys, we take children from their 2nd
birthday. Each child is individually assessed and they are gradually
moved up into classes 1 & 2 which aims to prepare them for school.
Uniform
Sweatshirts & T-shirts are available from the nursery office. They
should be worn whilst attending nursery. Summer caps for girls & boys
are available but are not compulsory. Grey or Navy bottoms should be
worn. All items of clothing worn to nursery must be labelled. We request
that indoor shoes are to be kept at nursery in a named PE bag. For
children that stay for a full day, a wash bag must be provided with a
tooth brush and toothpaste. All pre-nursery children must provide a
sheet and a blanket labelled clearly to be used at rest time and taken
home every weekend for washing.
Child Protection
As a nursery registered with OFSTED
Early Years, we follow The Children Act 1989 in respect of Child
Protection procedures. In the event of any unresolved concerns we will
seek professional Advise.
Cheeky Monkeys has set
limits for children. Use of physical punishment ( smacking, slapping or
deprivation of food ) is not allowed.
